Our Practice

Central Valley Eye Care is a comprehensive ophthalmic practice. We provide general ophthalmology, including medical eye examinations (i.e., diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, retina, etc.), as well as eye surgeries such as cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), and retina. 

We have an in-house optical department that carries a wide variety of frames and sunglasses, including Dolce & Gabbana, Caviar, Cazal, Dior, and Coach.  We are providers for most vision insurances such as VSP, Eyemed, Superior Vision, and Medical Eye Services.

The majority of our staff are fluent in Spanish, and we are committed to providing our patients with the best possible ophthalmic care. 

We are preferred providers for most PPO insurances and are contracted with Bakersfield Family Medical Group/Physicians Heritage Network.
